Pegasus Bay Vine Run Terms and Conditions.

By entering into the Pegasus Bay Vine Run you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am travelling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.

2. I agree to abide by all race rules and directions issued by the event organiser and the race directors.

3. I, means myself, and anyone else on whose behalf I am registering and whose name appears on the EventPlus invoice.

4. I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able.

5. I acknowledge that with any run/walk event, there is the risk of injury, or even death from various causes including dehydration, accidents with other participants, overexertion, spectators, weather conditions and other causes.

6. I am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and surface conditions during the event. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organiser, race directors, sponsors/supporters, promoters and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, including volunteers and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.

7. I waiver all claims of liability or damage against any individual, group or organisation involved in the Pegasus Bay Vine Run.

8. I consent to the event organiser using my name, images and likeness before, during and after the event for promotional and reporting purposes in any media.

9. By competing, I accept all risks necessarily flowing from my participation which could result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly, I release all persons, and bodies corporate or unincorporate associated directly or indirectly with the conduct of the event, from all claims demands and proceedings arising out of my participation and I hereby indemnify them against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with my participation in this event. This release shall extend to and include Pegasus Bay Vineyards & Winery Limited, Donaldson Family Limited, Donaldson Enterprises Limited and their respective partners, managers, officers, agents, contractors, employees and volunteers including medical and paramedical personnel appointed for the event, the owners, licensees and occupiers of land upon which the event or any part of it is conducted, any statutory body or local authority having control over any land upon which the event or any part of it is conducted or which is involved directly or indirectly with the event in any manner whatsoever and promoters, sponsors and event organiser. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representative and assigns.

10. I will notify the event organiser of any medical or physical conditions from which I suffer that might affect my performance or be relevant if medical treatment is needed.

11. I consent to receiving any medical treatment that the event organiser considers desirable during or after the event.

12. Safety precautions undertaken by event organiser (such as course supervision, race safety briefings and safety checks) are a service to me and other competitors but are not a guarantee of safety.

13. I acknowledge that the event organiser or race directors may remove me from the event and/or exclude me from participation due to inappropriate, offensive or abusive behaviour, or to prevent damage to any property, or on medical or health and safety grounds, or to prevent any form of unauthorised marketing.

14. I accept that the event organiser’s decision is final and as such consent to follow all directions by event organiser in relation to the event.

15. I am fully responsible for the security of my personal possessions at the event.

16. I agree to remain on the designated course and follow directions from event officials at all times.

17. I acknowledge that by reason or circumstances beyond the control of the event organiser and the race directors, it may become necessary or desirable to change the format of the event, and if that occurs, I consent to the changes and I agree that each and every of the conditions herein set out shall apply to that changed event.

18. There will be no refunds but entries can be transferred to another person up to 14 days before the event. In the case of the event being cancelled due to an act of nature or other circumstances, entry fees will not be refunded.

19. Dogs are not permitted at the event.

20. I hereby certify that I am eighteen (18) years of age or older.

21. I agree that if I am entering a child or children under the age of 18, I will act as their guardian, and be responsible for the welfare of the child or children at all times, before, during and after the event. I also agree that if signing this on behalf of a participant under the age of 13 years, that the participant will be accompanied by an adult at all times during the event.

22. It is not permitted to bring your own alcohol to this event.

23. The bottle of wine included in the entry fee is to take away and cannot be consumed on the premises.

24. Updates and race info will only be sent to the customer email listed entered on check-out. Registrants registered on your behalf may receive an email from the Vine Run asking them to subscribe to the Pegasus Bay Vine Run registrants only newsletter for news and race updates.
